Annie Sloan Chalk Paint

Love this =)
We were in Coeur d'Alene on Saturday for a family lunch and did some shopping downtown afterwards. Car d'Lane was going on & it was so cool seeing all the classic cars. We stopped at Wiggett's Antique Marketplace and Figpickles Toy Emporium, great fun! The circus was in town as well so we dropped off the kids & Aunt Mel, my mom and I had enough time to hit up one thrift store. Treasures galore!! I have been searching for this style of table since I bought mine and Saturday was my lucky day.
Yesterday, before we left Spokane I dragged Ooitz with me on a hunt for Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. There are three retailers in the Spokane area that carry it. Our search began at 9:00 with our first stop being The Trellis Marketplace, it didn't open on time & we needed to get going so we were off to find ArtWorks Spokane. The help there was amazing!! I ended up with Old White, Provence & Dark Soft Wax.
Old White with a touch of wax.
I love how it turned out!
I dry brushed Provence on this vintage frame.
The patina is just perfect.
Before Glenn's Eagle Scout Honor Court, Ooitz & I went yardsailing in Medical Lake. We found this super cute, vintage canning jar. I added crown tissue paper on each side, now it just needs a black candle inside. It's so charming!!

I totally wheeled the truck & trailer on the way back from Pocatello today!!
My Mr. was so patient & sweet about it...I love him.
Ooitz & I did some shopping this evening. We found all sorts of goodies!
There's a new store in Mtn. Home, Limited Edition, right on main street.
If you're in the area stop by, it's such a neat shop!!
Fabulous, right?!!

Vintage hangers? Yes, please!
I have big plans for these dandies.

We're off to Spokane tomorrow & I'm sure I'll find a few places to browse along the way =)

Oh Snap!

PiNK, ZeBRa PrINt & SpARKleS!!! Perfect for a COWGIRL.
I LOVE this! I can't wait to finish & find it a new home. It will read 'Cowgirl' when done.
& I received an order from little Aleena's mom today.
She'll be getting one with her Indian name, so unique!

Yesterday morning, I received this text message from my youngest brother...
Just before he walked out the door, two minutes earlier, I reminded him to watch out for Sadee,
so I figured he sent this as a joke.
Nope! Thank goodness it's only minor.

I'm off to Boise tomorrow, I can't wait to go shopping for new supplies!!!

This 'n That

Barbed wire & dusty flowers.
I have been working on this for the past week & I got an order for another one on Friday. It's so exciting when I receive special orders. This particular piece is four feet long and has five flowers.
I am lovin' the turquoise with the rusty wire.
The gal who ordered is super sweet, and I can't wait to deliver it.
Want one? Leave a comment & we'll work something out.

It was the best weekend...Daxton and I were in Klamath Falls, Oregon for his first Indian rodeo, which he won with a 4.6!! Very pretty country up that way, I might add.
We decided to take in a little fair action & hopped on a carnival ride...twice =)

It was So. Much. Fun! I love doing small spontaneous things with him.
I made another Etsy sale over the weekend!!! & today I'm sending off my application for Elko's Art in the Park July 14th & 15th...fingers crossed I get accepted.
