I love altered bottles. My next few will have some color & bling, 

but for now I love the softness of cream & lace.

Rainy Day

I've had this shutter for awhile, but it was just too plain,

so tonight I stenciled on 'Vintage' and added a cloth flower. 

It has a rawness about it that I like.  

This is my first altered suitcase. The UGLY brown paint definitely has to go, I'll fix that later...

I love this handle tho, I wrapped it with jute. The bow is so perfect!

There's a door at Antique World that is absolutely to die for!! & I want it! 

I just hope no one gets to it before me.

This may be a little too 'messy' for some, but I love it!

The small jars are perfect for glitter, embossing powder, embellishments...all sorts of stuffs!

Ohana Means Family =

It was such a fun weekend! My family was in town for the BSU pow wow, we had a great time just hangin' out & laughing...lotsa laughing! KW even made the trip down with his drum group. 

Saturday, I took my mom & Priscilla to visit The Shabby House. They both loved it! 

I couldn't resist this, it's so...charming & shabby. 

I also purchased some furniture wax, it'll be a nice touch to the pieces I do. 

Oh, and I have made two Etsy sales!!! I'm so excited =) I shipped off the Stuffs today, the Lace Hope Bottle is on its way to Australia! Maybe you'll find something you love, check out my shoppe.

I bought this cute, little spice rack back in February and haven't done a thing with it. 

Last night inspiration finally hit.

It still has to be shabby-fied but I'm lovin' it so far!

This is completely cottage chic...not something I usually do. I like it...sorta.
 Hopefully someone will love it.

Operation: Decorate

Today, I decided instead of having everything tucked here and there I would attempt to gather and decorate. Dun, dun, dun!!

 

I adore this lamp from Ooh La La Home Decor. The old ceiling tile is the perfect color with a little patina, spotted this at The Shabby House. The pillow reads, 'She rules her life as elegantly as a queen,' I picked it up at Hayley's. The ladder isn't a traditional bedside stand, but I love it!

I'm not sure there is a trend thru out my apartment, well I know there's not, but I'm happy with it. 

My family is here for the weekend. 

The perfect time to have my dad hang this clock from The Nest.

This project was derived from a couple different sources...Daxton, Steven & Dirk picked it out for me and my mom came up with the design.

It looks 89 x better, now!!

With this piece I discovered (after trial & FAIL) that less is wayy better. I thought the front looked too plain so I decided to add some pink beads around the windows...horrible idea! It looked cheap and uuugly! So I ripped off the beads and re-did the doors. 

I absolutely l-o-v-e it!!!

& How cute is this?!

I only altered the oval area. 

I used Tattered Angels Pearl & Tattered Leather Glimmer Mists to create the back ground & then stamped on the image. It turned out perfect! 

How can you resist this??

I got a pedicure earlier, my toes are sparkly gold & light green...love 'em! 

They sorta match this watering can =)

Paper Rosettes

Look what I discovered how  to create... 

Paper rosettes!

I had to buy a hot glue gun in order to make these. Hello?! What kind of 'crafter' doesn't have a hot glue gun?? Well, sadly, I didn't. Problem solved, and now many more rosettes will be made.
