Graduation Cards

Rodeo season has officially started for Daxton. For the next 40 weekends he will be roping somewhere...okay, maybe not 40, but you get the picture. We were in Spray, Oregon yesterday...no good. While we were traveling, however, I received a request for a special graduation card and another and another. Here's what I came up with...

If you would like a special card for your graduate let me know & we'll figure something out.

Inspired by my last display at Kountry Kitchen, I decided to make a few more
& dropped them off the evening.
 $4.50 each.

I'm excited & off to create some more.

Vintage

Vintage flashcards.
I spotted these at Ooh La La Home Decor & could not resist them.

Soft, vintage ballet slippers...next item on my wish list. I just love how sweet they look tied together.

Sky got contacts today, she's growing up =)

Vintage Petals

...Sweet...Romantic...Charming...
I adore these roses...I handmade 'em petal by petal.
Dipped, Dusted & Baked.
I found the tutorial HERE. Mine look nothing like Monica's, but I love them!

Craft Responsibly

Paris themed paper rosettes

I love this set.
I think some jute would be cute added to this set...maybe like a garland type thing??

While I was making all these rosettes I dropped hot glue on my finger...OUCH!!!
We didn't have any band-aids so Ooitz came to the rescue with gauze and double-sided tape.
This huge cast probably wasn't necessary, but it worked =)
Anyway, my advice to you...craft responsibly! *giggles*

We had a nice barbeque out at Sheep Creek today. The guys fished some while Shoni and Bryn kept me entertained. Sky & my mom were in Pyramid Lake to watch the eclipse.

I hope your day was bright & sunny!!

ReZ jUnK

Inspired by Junk Gypsies we decided to do a little junkin,' or pickin,' as Kenneth calls it.

It was so much fun & I love the treasures we found!!

Lunch & Dinner

I love the rose colored knob on this shabby piece.

I made these this morning, I want to use them as price tags...won't that be shabby & cute?

This is just a simple jewelry box with some sheet music added.

I had a nice lunch with my grandpa today & tonight we had a dinner to celebrate KW's junior year, Eddie becoming a fire fighter, mom's birthday & whatever else we decided to throw in.
 It was GREAT!
